Sunghee Ballet Academy (SBA) was founded to provide high quality dance instruction for students of all ages, in an inspirational environment. The academy is committed to nurturing students from recreational to pre-professional levels of ballet, by developing skills through expert programming. It is our mission to bring the joy, beauty, artistry and discipline of classical dance to Pembroke Pines and audiences from our surrounding communities, and to dance students through artistic and educational programs.
Under the artistic direction of Sunghee Han, we offer many classes in both ballet and pointe. In these classes, we strive to have a focus in classical inspired – Russian (Bolshoi) and Cecchetti Ballet Style. All classes are taught by a highly qualified staff of professionals. Limited class sizes allows for individual attention and guidance. At our state-of-the-art studios, we are pleased to offer our students a professional and comfortable environment for enhancing their skills and achieve their goals.

The academy is committed to fostering the development of disciplined, self-confident students, who will grow from their training, whether their goal is to achieve a career in ballet, or apply the knowledge they have gained to other professions. We are known for our dedication for nurturing developing dancers in a safe and progressive way. As a result, all of our students develop self-esteem, self-discipline, and a strong fitness level that will provide a well deserved advantage in their life.
