Youth Ballet Company (YBC) is a pre-professional performing company with the goal of fostering young artists in a professional environment. Being a member of the Youth Ballet Company requires a serious commitment from the young dancers. The Company provides dancers with an extra opportunity to develop their performance skills and their artistry and is also committed to forging new ground in work for youth, especially in helping them find their own voice and contribute to the choreographic process. The company rehearsals are held outside of regular class time.
- Audition
- Who:
- Senior Group: Students who take at least 6 h classes per week and are in Ballet Level 5 – 6, are eligible to sign up the audition.
- Junior Group: Students who take at least 4 h classes per week and are in Ballet Level 3 – 4, are eligible to sign up the audition.

- 12:00 pm on Jan 28 (Sat), 2017
- Who:
- Company Rehearsals: Every Sat, starting at Feb 4, 2017
- Senior Group: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
- Junior Group: 1:00 – 2:00 pm
- Time can be changed due to the academy schedule.
- Rules
- Company members are required to participate in SBA showcase in May and Annual performance in Dec. Lead roles are given to only company members.
- Company members are required to take classes throughout the summer or study at an approved summer program.
- Company members are to represent the studio in a positive way at all times. This includes maintaining a high grade point average and having a professional demeanor in and out of the studio.
- SBA Artistic Director reserves the right to remove any member from the company for absenteeism, disciplinary reasons, or for any other reason impacting the company.
